Hello again,
When it comes to heart disease, prevention is a key player. And because of that, you need to know that too much stress causes blood preasure and cardiovascular incidences to go up. Thus, don’t let stress get out of control. To prevent that from happening, make a note of the following easy advice:
* Limit the amount of caffeine you consume every day.
* Avoid meals rich in fat.
* Don’t abuse alcohol or sedatives when you are tired. They make things worse.
* Start your day with a good breakfast. Don’t go to work on an empty stomach.
* Drink water. 8 to 10 glasses a day are recommended. Always keep a bottle of water near you.
* Make sleeping a priority. When it comes to social events or house chores, keep in mind that your sleeping comes first. Why? Because when you are rested everything looks easier which means less stress.
Have a restful day.

For a skeptical review of “drink at least8 glasses of water daily,” you might want to read http://ajpregu.physiology.org/cgi/content/full/283/5/R993?maxtoshow=&HITS=10&hits=10&RESULTFORMAT=&author1=valtin%2CH&searchid=1&FIRSTINDEX=0&sortspec=relevance&volume=283&resourcetype=HWCIT#SEC5. This article, by Heinz Valtin, is entitled “‘Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.’ Really? Is there scientific evidence for ‘8×8′” and is published in the American Journal of Physiology – Regulatory, Integrative and Comparative Physiology.
Snopes.com also discusses the 8-ounces 8 times daily issue, considering it an urban myth.
